Emily Baker Named to the Super Lawyers 2020 Virginia Rising Stars List
Tucker PLLC is proud to announce that family law attorney and partner Emily C. Baker, who previously practiced as part of the Family Law Group of Feldesman Tucker, has been named to the Super Lawyers 2020 Virginia Rising Stars list in family law. She is also named on the Washington, DC Rising Stars list for 2019 and 2020. Emily co-leads Tucker’s Virginia practice.
To be selected for the Rising Stars list, lawyers who are 40 or younger undergo a rigorous process that includes peer nomination, independent review, and peer evaluation. Being named to the Rising Stars list is an accolade reserved for only 2.5% of Virginia lawyers.
“I’m honored to be recognized by my peers,” said Emily. “The work I’m able to do helps clients and families develop goals for the next stage of their lives beyond divorce and separation.”
Emily’s practice is characterized by empathy, attention to detail and creativity. She offers particular expertise in representing clients in complex, high-net-worth family law matters. Emily received her law degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law in Lexington, Virginia, and was past President of the Young Lawyers Section of the Fairfax Bar Association.
