Partner Jonathan Dana Continues the Firm’s Tradition of Giving to the Community
Jonathan Dana recently shared his expertise in handling complex divorce cases with Legal Service Providers and Pro Bono Attorneys. The training was sponsored by the DC Bar Association. Drawing on his more than 30 years of legal experience, Jonathan lectured both on substantive divorce law and on practical “tips of the trade.”
The workshop explored the intricacies of complicated divorce matters including, among other subjects, the issues of alimony, child support, equitable division of property, dissipation and waste of marital property, enforcement of court orders, and awards of attorney fees. The four-hour seminar provoked a lively dialogue with those in attendance. Jonathan hopes to return annually to the DC Bar to continue the education and development of lawyers practicing in the area of divorce and family law and to enhance the quality of legal services for the underserved in our city.
