Dan Schy is a highly regarded family law attorney known for his dedication to clients and zealous advocacy in the courtroom. Before joining Tucker, Dan served as Chair of the Family Law Practice Group for Legal Services of Northern Virginia (LSNV), a non-profit law firm offering pro bono legal assistance to those in need, including older adults, people with disabilities and those challenged by the costs of legal services. At LSNV, he was instrumental in developing a program that provides free legal assistance to hundreds of domestic violence victims each year.

Dan has been recognized as a top lawyer by Super Lawyers, a distinction awarded to just 5% of lawyers in each state. Beyond his practice, he actively contributes to the community and has served on the Advisory Board for the Safe Havens Supervised Visitation/Exchange Program, participated in Fairfax County’s Domestic Violence Network and provided information sessions at Artemis House, a shelter for families affected by domestic violence.
