DC family law attorney Kelly Frye
Kelly Frye is a family law attorney at Tucker. She represents clients in all family law matters, including divorce, separation, custody, child support, alimony, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and domestic violence.
Before joining Tucker Family Law, Kelly worked as a term staff attorney in the Special Litigation Division of the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia, where she gained courtroom experience advocating for clients in complex legal matters.
Kelly also served as counsel for the Reproductive Rights and Health Team at the National Women’s Law Center in Washington, DC. Her work focused on protecting individual rights on the federal level and contributing to rapid response efforts on critical reproductive rights cases. Prior to these roles, Kelly clerked on the Superior Court for the District of Columbia for the Honorable Todd E. Edelman.
Kelly earned her Juris Doctorate from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis. During law school, she served as executive editor of the Washington University Law Review and was recognized as a Dean’s List honoree.
Before law school, Kelly graduated from the University of Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Norwegian Studies.
She is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia.
Outside of her practice, Kelly enjoys antiquing, attending CrossFit classes and exploring DC by foot.
